The Rose

Recently there has been an upsurge in dangerous and wild beasts. Many have been types never seen before in Celtland. to any of our tracker's memory. Even the wisewomen and priestesses have been befuddled by this and the goddess have chosen to remain silent.

The last well Theldrakis discovered a strange rose growing at the Stonehedge and showed it to Priestess Vyctoria. Again the wisewomen and grandmothers can recall of such a thing and yet again the Goddesses refuse to speak. Seeing this as a omen and a clue about the rise of strange beasts Vyctoria, I and Theldrakis made the long journey to ancient Nubia.

There we showed the priestesses this strange rose. They consulted their lore and found it to be from Riverland, or it is known to the Greeks as Mesopotamia. They two are puzzled as to why it would be growing on our land and now seek to consult their oracles.
